Our Individual Tutoring service offers personalized, one-on-one support tailored to your child’s unique learning needs. Whether they need help with specific subjects, homework assistance, or skill-building, our tutors create customized lesson plans to help them succeed. With flexible scheduling, your child can learn at their own pace in a focused, supportive environment.

The Roadmap:

  • We’ll start by having a personal conversation with you. We want to get to know your child—their strengths, areas where they might need some extra help, and the activities they love outside of school. This helps us understand their unique needs so we can recommend the best path forward. Since your child needs support in a core subject like English or math, we’ll likely suggest starting with an initial assessment to ensure we tailor our approach just for them.

  • Next, we’ll conduct an initial assessment to understand your student's academic level and identify areas needing support. This helps us create a tailored tutoring plan.

    To begin, we’ll send payment and signature links. Please complete these promptly to secure your student's time slot.

    After the assessment, we’ll create a custom plan. Our co-founders will collaborate with the tutor to set the first 8 goals and design the lessons for the first 3 weeks, ensuring your student progresses and gains confidence.

  • Finally, your student will have their first session with one of our experienced Study Buddy tutors. This session is designed to be both welcoming and effective, focusing on the personalized goals we’ve set together. We’re excited to support your child on their journey to academic success.
